Heroes and Villains Preview Images (2/11/2015)

Remember the introduction of Trunks? Everyone thought Frieza was dead and gone, but he returned with new enhancements. Unfortunately for him, he was unceremoniously dispatched in a few episodes – never to be heard from again (until later this year). In the DBZ TCG, Frieza has gained access to an even more impressive upgrade: Blue Overpowering Drill. In combination with Frieza – Tyrant and Blue Protective Mastery, you’ll be able to reliably advance to Level 2. From there, the drill remains in play and enables Frieza – Transformed to perform an unstoppable attack. Please enjoy this preview along with nine other cards in the gallery, and look forward to Heroes and Villains hitting the shelves in early March.

  1. In the first release, I was not to impressed with the Saiyan drills. I can firmly say with confidence, that I would include at least 2 Saiyan Unleashing drills in my Vegeta Deck.

  2. Red destiny is such good game design! I think that -×/-× powers are actually the best path to giving red a stable defense, and I hope you guys continue down that line. Looking forward to the rest of the set!

  3. Crushing Beam is cute with the Namekian Mastery. Gaining an anger off the shuffle is going to be nice, and it helps push Namekian to a more aggressive stance as an overall deck. Namekian Gohan Ally is here.
